For the Airbus A320 assembly line in Tianjin Hycom has delivered various systems. For assembly of the hydraulic systems Airbus uses a fixed hangar system, at which the pump unit is inside the basement and the aircraft systems are provided with pressure through a fixed piping network, throughout the complete assembly line. From the floor pits the hoses are directly attached to the aircraft systems. Big advantages to these kind systems are the fact that there is no equipment near the aircraft and that the noise level inside the hangar is not raised, because the noise source is in the basement. To guarantee flexibility and continuity they also ordered 5 mobile test stands, type HT2000. For the RAT tests they also use the HRK01 RAT test kit.

Hycom has delivered a Garasolve test system for testing of the fuel reservoirs. Identical to the hydraulic system, the noise source is in the basement. The liquid pumped into the fuel reservoirs is Garasolve, due to high explosion risks.

For completion of the Jet Fuel, Hycom has delivered a complete “Tank Farm”. A system from which the Jet Fuel is stored from external tankers into reservoirs. From the reservoirs the fuel is then pumped into the A320 through mobile tankers.

For all these systems Hycom has delivered a complete system with piping and commissioning on site.

For the assembly line of the A400M tranporter Hycom delivered the central hydraulic system. Hydraulic pressure is necessary on various stations for assembly of the airplane. All these stations are connected with RVS pipingwork. Once the A400M completely assembled is, Hycom ALC system fills the complete system and the reservoirs remain during different test on operational level. This helps the operators to prevent the reservoirs undesirably empty or overflow.

For the CN-235 and C-295 Hycom delivered some mobile HT2000. These systems can communicate with each other and can be operated on distance through Ethernet connection.

Hycom also delivered test equipment for the CASA company in Madrid.

Also a complete new non rotating and servo test bank has been delivered. This system can run fully automated programs.

The advantage of automatic run of CMM tests is that all tests are being performed the same.

Importing a CMM test program takes about one hour for the engineers of ST Aerospace.

For Hycom the Netherlands is home base. Hydraulic test equipment can be found at various locations.

KLM is Hycom’s oldest customer. The first hangar system delivered Hycom to KLM. After that Hycom supplied central hydraulic systems for two more hangars. At a later stage KLM replenished with various mobile HT2000 test stands and RAT Test equipment.

At Schiphol Airport, test equipment of Hycom can be found with Stork Fokker Services, MOOG HAS and Martinair.

The Dutch Air Force uses the HTL mobile test systems for maintenance of the F16. At various Air Force bases a total of 45 pieces of this model is in use. At Air Force base Woensdrecht operates a complete maintenance hangar for F16 and helicopters on a Hycom central hydraulic system.

To the Dutch Navy, Hycom has delivered 17 pieces of mobile HTM units for maintenance on the Lynx helicopters. With de Navy also a components test bank is in use for hydraulic valves.

For the AN-148 Hycom delivered a HT2000 to Antonov for the testing and assembly line. The unit is based on a 2 pump system, so both hydraulic systems of the AN-148 have their own pressure and flow service.

In the Emirates Hycom has delivered hydraulic test equipment to Air Arabia and ADAT (Abu Dhabi). Air Arabia uses a diesel engine driven HT2000 for line maintenance on the Airbus airplanes.

With Eaton Aerospace, Hycom has agreed in 2004 to take over the complete product support worldwide for Vickers Test stands.

For testing of the components, conform CMM’s Eaton has also developed test stands in cooperation with Hycom. For Eaton’s plant in Bedhampton, Hycom has delivered a A380 pump test stand and some modification kits for existing PTU and motor test stands. For testing the Fatigue, Hycom has produced and delivered a special test stand.
